Photography is a fun class that I’m glad I took. It’s cool learning how to properly use a camera to take the best photos possible. It’s also fun learning how to edit the photos. If you’re wanting to maybe do this as a career or as a hobby, this class is for you. The work is actually pretty simple when you’re doing everything on time.
We do have a lot of work, sometimes a different assignment every day, and sometimes we have the week to work on a few. If you slack at all you’ll end up being behind. But the teacher does take late work and only docks of a few points if its days late. As long as you finish the work on time, you’ll be fine.
I suggest paying attention when the teacher is speaking. She explains how to properly use everything in detail which will help you catch on quicker and be able to finish assignments easily once you get it down. My mistake was not fully paying attention even though that’s the easiest thing to do. Overall, the class is fun and pretty easy once you get the hang of everything.
Artificial intelligence can be a powerful tool in photography when used thoughtfully during both the shooting and editing process. For beginners and experienced photographers alike, AI features built into modern cameras and editing software can help improve focus, exposure, and composition. For example, AI-powered autofocus can detect faces, eyes, or even animals, making it easier to capture sharp images without constant manual adjustments. In editing, AI tools can automatically enhance lighting, remove noise, or adjust colors while still allowing the photographer to maintain creative control. The key is to treat AI as an assistant rather than a replacement for your artistic decisions, using it to save time and improve technical quality.
To use AI effectively, photographers should also develop their own style and understanding of basic photography principles. Relying too heavily on AI can lead to generic-looking images, so it’s important to learn when to override automated suggestions. For instance, AI might brighten an image for clarity, but you may choose to keep darker tones for mood or storytelling. Additionally, experimenting with AI tools—such as object removal, background blur, or scene recognition—can open up new creative possibilities when used intentionally. By balancing technical assistance with personal creativity, photographers can use AI to enhance their work while still producing unique and meaningful images.
